Bots tech help

I need some help folks. When ever I log in here I see a Google bot listed in the forum as well. I do not tolerate bots. Hate em. I DO use Firefox but will never EVER use chrome. I've never downloaded chrome, but I do see this bot there. Its honestly pissing me off. Any tech suggestions would be really helpful. I hate IE too, btw. Is there a cookie setting or something I can do? I'm a bit of a tech idiot so the more detailed the answer the better

just a quick update, I just banned the bot from the forum. But I'm sure google has more than one IP address.

I believe the bot appears whenever someone is searching for something on Google that makes the forum appear on the searcg results. This was the case anyway on a forum I used to moderate.

You folks want to hear something funny? I saw that bot again and was like, "i'll show you!" So I went to ban its IP address and when I did, I banned myself instead. I haven't had access all damn day lol. Had to use a friends computer to get on here. I'm so lame
